Having graduated recently from Bachelors of Music at Monash Uni, I have been finding a purpose, a meaning to where I should go next.
Whilst currently teaching just shy of 30 students on a weekly basis, I still find I have a lot of drive to pursue further studies and learn more pieces from the classical piano repertoire.
Also to acknowledge, I have yet to actually go for an AmusA exam with the AMEB syllabus, despite having learnt pieces that would qualify me for the award.
Instead of playing old pieces for an AmusA exam however, I’ve decided to learn new pieces to widen my classical repertoire, whilst still working towards the AmusA.
I shall begin with the famous Beethoven ‘Pathetique’ Piano Sonata.
